Nerja is a friendly but versatile holiday destination with 300 days of sunshine a year! It is located on the Mediterranean Sea in the southernmost state of Spain, Andalusia. This easternmost town of the Costa del Sol with its charming historic center is a really nice, atmospheric town for young and old. The immensely ancient Caves of Nerja and the beautiful Balcon de Europa viewpoint are famous and very popular.
Malaga ( 30 Min.)
Málaga is the capital of the Costa del Sol plus the province of the same name. After Seville, it is the second city in Andalusia and the sixth in Spain. For decades, Malaga airport was the only place of tourist interest, but this has completely changed. Nowadays Malaga is labeled ‘hip & trendy’ and rightly so!
Granada ( 60 Min.)
Granada is famous for the beautiful Arab castle Alhambra. You would almost forget it, but Granada has even more to offer as a versatile holiday destination! It is a truly lively, atmospheric city with lots of culture and history and, above all, an impressive location on a plateau in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Like everywhere in the interior of Andalusia, it is hot in summer and sunny in winter, but also quite cold. The Sol y Nieve ski area with permanently snow-covered glaciers is located just behind the city, which provides beautiful pictures.
